Hot off the press–a fledgling bluebird painted by my daughter. This was another lesson she adapted for watercolors from the book, “Painting Garden Birds” with Sherry C. Nelson. I love the texture she used to suggest feathers, and I particularly like the fluffy cheek and breast feathers. The budding rose is quite lovely, too. Watercolors and acrylic ink on cold pressed Acquarello Artistico paper by Fabriano.
