My mom’s third watercolor painting–completed during our Memorial Day family watercolor fest. This painting was a little more challenging for her due to the small size of the blooms, but she stuck with it–after a brief hiatus–and she ended up with a successful painting. Way to go, mom. Watercolors on cold pressed Acquarello Artistico paper by Fabriano.

She’s a regular grandma Moses. This painting tutorial was featured in Michael Lakin’s book, “Botanical Flowers in Watercolor.” Watercolors on hot pressed Acquarello Artistico paper by Fabriano.
Watercolor Calla Lilies
Watercolors, micron pen, and acrylic ink on cold pressed Canson Aquarelle/Acuarela paper. Another painting my daughter finished during our joint painting session this week. How amazing is she?
